THIEME Machine factory founded in Teningen, Freiburg by Werner Thieme
THIEME Plastics factory is founded
Implemented the first high quality designs of molded parts (PUR) made from Polyurethane
Implemented designs and started production of screen printing machines
First energy absorbing foam for automotive applications were made
THIEME S.A. France is founded
Opening of Thiemes technical department (Technikum) with merger of Thieme machines and plastic factory
Beginning of second generation of the Thieme family
THIEME Corporation USA is founded
Modern restructuring of individual business units towards process orientation is performed
Large polyurethane parts are designed and produced
Awarded Quality Management system certification of Polyurethane Division
Start of development of large-format digital printing systems with cooperation partners. Frank Thieme becomes the main shareholder and sole owner.
