Digital printing: Flexibility with the THIEME 505 D MINT
Customised digital printing solutions for industrial production
The THIEME 505 D MINT digital printing system was developed for high-volume coin printing. A highlight of this system is the integrated camera alignment system, which is able to recognise the position of different substrates (coins) and rip the print file accordingly.
In the fully automatic version, the printer can print up to 15,000 coins per shift and has become a very successful tool for coin decoration worldwide. This is a typical example of a digital printing solution with customised material handling and print head design.
